Jasmine Hilton is a Metro crime and courts reporter on the Local desk at The Washington Post.
Born in Columbus, Oh., and raised in Bowie, Md., she is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Alongside print storytelling, she has a passion for digital and broadcast media; with experience interning with NBC News WRC-TV in Washington D.C. and POLITICO.
Through her avid love of writing and communicating with others, she aspires to help newsrooms report compelling narratives that engage audiences across all platforms.
Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys browsing used bookstores, volunteering for events at her church and walking her cockapoo, Graham.
